Hearts of Oak Player Joseph Owusu Bempah Has Not Killed Anyone – Multiple Media Outlets Are Misreporting

Multiple media outlets are misreporting that 20-year-old Hearts of Oak Player, Joseph Owusu Bempah, shot and killed a 15-year-old-girl in Nsawam in the Eastern Region of Ghana and is in Police custody.
According to the story published on Pulse.com.gh and VibeGhana who also attributed the popular Ghanaian newspaper the Ghanaian Times as their source.
Even though the story claims that the suspect is still in police custody we at AccraReport.com have directly called and spoken to Joseph Owusu Bempah, who has been in training with his colleagues all week.
“I have been at training week. I don’t even have a girlfriend, when my mum heard the story she even fell. I don’t even know what to say. Multiple news outlets called me and asked me questions.” said Joseph Bempah in a conversation with AccraReport senior correspondent Nana Kofi Akwah.
This seems to be a case of mistaken identity, the suspect in the murder story also goes by the name Owusu Bempah and happens to be a football player but not the popular hearts of oak player Joseph Owusu Bempah.
Joseph Owusu Bempah also promised to take on the media outlets that are not correctly representing the story.
