Gyilli-Naa Badienaag Sanyeh II, the Chief of Gyilli Traditional Area, in the Upper West region has revealed that, God has already endorsed President John Dramani Mahama to lead the country in the next four years.
He said the endorsement by the traditional rulers is not to meddle in politics but to endorse what God has chosen for the country.
Gyilli-Naa Badienaag Sanyeh II, made the revelation at a mini rally of the NDC, attended by Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur at Kaleo in the Nadowli Kaleo constituency.
He has therefore urged members of the NDC to continue preaching its developmental projects to the electorates, as the nation prepares for polls on December 7, 2016.
He said God is always on the side of truth and the one having the nation at heart, hence the chosen of President Mahama.
“We don’t need lies and insult as God always goes with the truth and the one who can develop the country and has already endorse our President to continue his good works,” he said.
The Chief however appealed to government to expand rural electrification, repair its dam for irrigation, build more roads, schools and health posts.
As part of the tour by the Vice President, the Bulen-Naa in the Wa East constituency also endorsed the second term bid of President Mahama.
