Kumawood actor Kofi Adu popularly known as Agya Koo, has pleaded with Ghanaians to be patient with the new president and give him time to settle down. The celebrated actor believes the newly elected President will fulfill his promises, as well as take Ghana to greater heights; but needs patience and support of the people.

Agya Koo was one of the die hard supporters of President Nana Addo and his New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the pre-election period. Agya Koo declared his support for the NPP Flagbearer in September 2016, persuading Ghanaians to embrace the party’s message of change, in order for them to give Akufo-Addo a 57 per cent win in the election.

Speaking on Accra-based radio station Adom FM,  Agya Koo expressed gratitude to all those who made it possible for Nana Akufo-Addo to win the elections and urged them to pray for him. He expressed his satisfaction over the fact that all the hard work and time his team put in for a successful outcome eventually paid off. Speaking about the Agenda 57 campaign, he revealed that he and his co celebrities did not get any sleep during the campaign season, as they put in all their time to ensure a win for Akufo-Addo.
