The 2016 Campaign Coordinator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has said Ghanaians will soon regret for failing to re-elect President John Mahama on December 7, to continue a second term of office. The NDC loyalist says Ghanaians have made the biggest mistake by changing the Mahama-led NDC administration.

Speaking on Asempa FM Monday, Kofi Adams stated that Ghanaians will soon miss President Mahama for what he did for the country. Mr. Adams who says the government performed exceedingly well in just four years of being in power, wondered why things turned out the way they did in the elections.

The NDC loyalist went biblical as he tried to explain how outstanding the outgoing President’s administration has been over the years.

…all I’m saying is that Ghanaians will remember President Mahama for the greater good that he ensured in Ghana. Just as we remember Jesus Christ for the good He did on earth, so shall we never forget President Mahama for what he’s done for Ghana, Mr Adams emphasized.

Supporters of the NDC got the greatest surprise on December 9, when the Electoral Commission announced Nana Akufo-Addo as winner of the general elections.

The just concluded elections saw Nana Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), win 53.85 percent of the total valid votes cast, against President Mahama’s 44.40 percent, to become the fifth President of Ghana’s fourth republic. President Mahama’s loss makes him the first incumbent to lose an election, since Ghana returned to multi-party democracy in 1992.

But the NDC loyalist has said that the people of Ghana will sooner than later, regret voting out the incumbent President Mahama, whom he says has done exceptionally well for the people.
