President of the Patriotic Youth Movement for Change (PYM) Ms. Yaa Gyamera Aboagye has called on all well-meaning Ghanaians to join the campaign trail to secure a resounding victory for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP to rescue Ghana from the grips of the Mahama-led NDC government.

According to her, “Since we have to live with the outcome of the December 7 elections for the next four years, it is crucial that we devote time and resources to support the campaign”.

She therefore urged all Ghanaians who are yearning for change to rally behind Nana Addo and the NPP to ensure that we get a change in government to move Ghana forward.

Ms. Aboagye made these remarks during a vote canvassing market visit at the Lapaz New Market in the Okaikoi North Constituency of the Greater Accra region of Ghana.

The market visit was organized by the Patriotic Youth Movement for Change, a volunteer group within the New Patriotic Party comprising professionals, entrepreneurs and students who are actively involved in the campaign to wrestle power from the NDC in order to restore the fortunes of Ghana.

As part of the market visit, the group interacted with the traders to explain how the policies of Nana Addo and the NPP will improve their living conditions.

The traders bemoaned the high cost of agricultural produce, which had rendered their trade unprofitable.

They also expressed their frustrations at the harsh economic conditions, which has made it difficult for them to pay school fees, utility bills, as well as the ever-increasing cost of health care. Yet, they were hopeful that an NPP administration would turn things around and improve the economy.

Members of the PYM, accompanied by Mr. Fuseini Issah, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Okaikoi North, assured the traders that policies such as 1 Village 1 Dam will support all-year round farming and curb shortages in agricultural produce. They also reiterated the commitment of Nana Addo and the NPP to make credit facilities easily accessible to traders through initiatives such as MASLOC.

They therefore urged the traders to go out in their numbers on Election Day to vote massively for Nana Addo and Mr. Fuseini Issah.

Patriotic Youth Movement made a presentation of bumper stickers and aprons to support the campaign activities in the Okaikoi North Constituency.

The group also raised funds through the sale of coupons to support the “Adopt a Polling Station” fundraising initiative.
