The alleged security operatives led by one Daasebre Kwabena Ahenkorah, Head of the National Task Force and some others including 6 well-built men and two police officers stormed the home of the former Deputy Minister in the early hours of Tuesday at exactly 6:00 am and held the family for over two hours in search of the supposed missing vehicles belonging to the state.

Mr Agyekum who spoke to Kasapa FM told sit-in host of the Anopa Kasapa Morning Show, Kwaku Owusu Adjei that it was a poor spectacle, as his family was manhandled in the process, while at some point the macho men almost assaulted his wife for demanding a search warrant from the security officials.

“Apart from the leader of the group, one Ahenkorah who showed his ID in the process, the rest of the men were without any ID, including the two uniformed police men. They claimed the operations in my home was sanctioned by the Flagstaff House.”

“I never had in my possession the Land Cruiser Prado and Toyota Camry they were looking for. When they took my car papers and saw that everything was okay, they told me they would have to do a photocopy of it and return it later. I suspect this false information was given to them by my neighbours. The Prado I had in my possesssion was for the government which I returned long ago before January 7.”

According to him, he earlier called in the Ashongman Police to intervene, but there were no response from them.

His family was caged in their home, including his children who had to forfeit school because they were not ready to release the vehicles in the house for more than two hours.
