Actress Ebi Bright has assured she will snatch the Tema Central parliamentary seat from the opposition New Patriotic Party despite her lack of experience in politics.
In an interview with GhanaWeb after her campaign launch over the weekend, the actress claimed her lack of experience in politics will in no way affect her chances of victory in the upcoming polls.
She says her role as a social worker puts her in pole position to understand and address the needs of constituents of Tema Central.
“Leadership is about the people and leadership is about results so it doesn’t matter if I’ve been in this for ten years. I’m a social worker, I believe that that gives me more pedigree than a career politician…”
Ebi Bright, who will face the New Patriotic Party incumbent Member of Parliament, Kofi Brako in the upcoming elections says she is poised to overcome every challenge that comes her way in order to get the nod to serve residents of the Tema Central constituency.
