Days after CEO of Slip Music, Mark Okraku Mantey described Shatta Wale as not doing Dancehall music in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat, the latter has descended heavily on the Music producer.

Shatta Wale sent out strong words to warn Okraku to stay off his music career on any radio interview. He therefore advised the Hitz FM Programs Director to focus on his highlife and not dancehall.

“Don’t be silly …. this should be the last time you will talk about my matter on radio since you don’t cloth me nor feed me..

“Deal with Highlife not dancehall music… Do you know what Dancehall is?”

He added that “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. Ghana music industry don’t need you. Lord Kenya regrets because you didn’t show him the right way. When you are asked who is the Dancehall artiste in Ghana, don’t call my name, If I’m not a dancehall artiste how does that concern you. Jupiter, Stonebwoy passed through me but we don’t brag with that.”

However, Okraku Mantey told Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Starr 103.5 FM last Wednesday evening that songs released by Wale in the last two years shows “the young man is not doing Dancehall.”

“Suprisingly, Shatta Wale calls himself a Dancehall king but scan through his songs for the past two years,” explained Okraku Mantey. “The young man is not doing Dancehall. So it becomes difficult to mention who the best Dancehall act is.”

He adds that even Stonebwoy is not doing hardcore Dancehall music and Jupitar is about the only Dancehall artiste currently in Ghana.

“I think I like Jupitar. I hear he is in UK now. Stonebwoy is not even doing hardcore Dancehall. He is doing Reggae. For me, it’s Jupitar. He has been consistent since day one.”
