The Worship Ministry of the Calvary Baptist Church in Accra will from Friday, December 23 host a three-day worship service dubbed ‘The Living Christmas Tree’.
Themed ‘Wonderful (Awesome) Counselor’, the event is expected to drum home the message of Christmas at 6:00 each night.
The mission is to bring the knowledge of the redemptive love of Jesus Christ – the true meaning of Christmas – to all who witness the Living Christmas Tree.
A huge Christmas tree decorated with singing ornaments will characterize the event.
The ornaments will be the choristers, who will be singing Christmas songs.
The choristers will be standing for the entire performance on wooden platforms and will be accompanied by a band.
Some of the songs will also be accompanied by dancing.
There will also be short episodes by the Church’s drama group while the children’s mass choir and hand bell choir will also made an attendance.
