33 year old Christian Tetteh, battled the four masked AK47 and pump action guns wielding armed robbers who broke into his room using sophisticated implements.

The armless victim attempted to resist the armed robbers by fighting them for several minutes which he succeeded, as he foiled shooting attempt on him and the family by taking off the only bullet in one of the guns.

However, the daring armed robbers managed to overpower the victim, beat him and his nursing wife and two little children to pulp with the metal bars of their guns before succeeding to get access to their properties including ghc1,200, four mobile phones and pieces of cloths which they absconded with.

The armed robbers had earlier robbed a tenant in the house in similar fashion by taking away two mobile phones, a laptop, multi TV decoder, 27 inch Flat Screen TV and unspecified amount of monies.

Tetteh, not satisfied with the lost battle, laid surveillance measures in place after reporting the case to the Police at Efdiduase.

As part of the strategy to track the armed robbers, the victim, Christian Tetteh visited several phone repairing shops in Koforidua in search of the stolen phone.

Later, upon a tip off, he went to a phone repairing shop where two of the suspected armed robbers had brought one of the stolen phones for decoding and sale.

Under the pretext of negotiating the price to buy the phone having noticed it is his phone, he entered his password which opened the phone.

Livid Tetteh once again accosted the suspected armed robbers engaged them in another fight at the phone shop until the Police who had laid ambush, separated them and arrested the two suspects currently at Effiduase

Police station.

The victim, Christian Tetteh tells Kasapa News Eastern regional Correspondent, Kojo Ansah, there is blood in every sputum he coughs out as a result of the severe beatings by the armed robbers.

He is also not happy with the way the Effiduase Police is handling the case.
