A total of 14 Australian universities will be at the free event dubbed Australia Future Unlimited education Fair, which takes place at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.

It is being organized by the Australian Government’s Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade).

Austrade’s Trade Commissioner for West Africa, Brendan Coyne, encouraged students, parents, counsellors and anyone interested in finding out more about studying and living in Australia to attend the exhibition.

He said it would be a platform to find out why Australia is becoming an increasingly popular destination for Ghanaian students.

“We are extremely pleased that Ghanaian students will have this opportunity to engage directly with some of Australia’s leading universities and training institutions in Accra”, Coyne said.

He told 3FM, there would be a representative from the Department of Immigration and Border Protection to deliver presentations on student visa application process.

The representative would also address issues of individuals who have questions on the visa process.

Sharing his experience in Ghana so far, the Austrade Commissioner said he loved the people of Ghana, the weather and food, adding similarities between Australia and Ghana, particularly the weather, were more than the differences

Australian institutions are amongst the leading education institutions in the world in many fields including Mining, Engineering, Agriculture, Public Health, Business, Science, Law and Hospitality.
