Another 4 Years For Mahama Will See Ghana On Its Knees – Akufo Addo

The Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo Addo has cautioned Ghanaians against re-electing President John Mahama in the upcoming December 7 election, saying they’ll forever regret if they should do so.

According to him, Mahama’s monumental incompetence that has caused a lot of hardship for the citizenry will see Ghana going on its knees if the president is given another four year term in office.

The three-time Presidential candidate of the NPP was speaking to students of the Sunyani Polytechnic on Friday as part of his campaign tour of the Brong Ahafo Region.

The former Attorney General urged the students to determine their future by making a decisive choice of voting for him and the party’s Parliamentary candidates to bring hope back to the Ghanaian people and enhance their living condition.

“The National Health Insurance Scheme, which is a very decent healthcare system is today virtually in ruins. We have now almost returned to the cash and carry system. When were in office, in order to encourage the output of teachers and nurses even without oil, President Kufour’s government was able to pay teacher and nurses trainee allowances. Different aspects of our lives have all deteriorated under Mahama’s watch, four more years and our country will be on its knees.”

He added: “That is why I’m saying to you that your future is now, the decision you take on the 7th of December will decide whether you’ll have a bright future or a bleak future…that is why I’m saying to you that your future is now. John Mahama with defeat staring him in the face is going say or do anything to save his job. He’s got to really love 8 years in the Presidency and he’s not prepared to let go.”
