Speaking in an interview with Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, the legislator and former presidential staffer under the erstwhile Mahama administration said it is extremely mischievous for the NPP to say they are on course with their 103 achievements.

According to him, the presentation by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was restating campaign promises and policy positions. ”There is nothing that he has listed that one can say is a concrete achievement,” he added.

He said, the NPP is only deceiving Ghanaians and in my personal opinion and in terms of summarizing the first 100 days of the NPP, I will only describe it as 100 days of deceit, lawlessness and no cabinet.

I say deceit because a lot of the promises they made to Ghanaians has not been touched.”

He said the NPP has made a u-turn on their free senior school to claim that it will only benefit first year students.

”If you look at the issue of the free senior school they promised, they now have retract to indicate that, they are only going to fund only first year students who are going to enter senior high school in September.

What this means is that, second and third year students are not going to benefit. But if you look at their manifesto, it never indicated that there is going to be a discrimination between first years, second years and third years.”

He further slammed the NPP for claiming that they have solved dumsor in their first 100 days when they have done nothing the power sector.

On the issue of lawlessness, he lamented over the unlawful conduct of the Delta Force, a vigilante group affiliated to the NPP.

He expressed grave concern the ”rambo manner under which the Delta Force members raided the Kumasi Circuit Court to free some other members who were standing trial for attacking the president’s nominee to the office of the Kumasi Security Coordinating Council.

He also questioned the non-existence of cabinet as constitutionally mandate.

Ghanaians he stressed will come to the same conclusion that the government has performed poorly if they should scrutinize the so-called 103 achievements touted by the Vice President when he addressed a Townhall meeting on Easter Monday.

The Minority he noted will continue to provide a constructive criticism to ensure that government is on its toes. The quality of Minority MPs he said, cannot be compared to that of the Majority although the side will always have their way with issues.
