Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says he will not stop Jeffrey Schlupp from quitting his side in January if he is unhappy.
The 23-year-old is struggling to get a place in the first team of the English Premier champions this season.
West Brom have shown interest in the Ghana international to land him in the next transfer window.
“Always I say to my players it is important to stay together but if they don’t feel good because they want more it is important to speak and look what is the best for the club, the team and themselves.” the Italian gaffer said in an interview.
“And I understand them.”
He added: “I understand it is not possible to retain one or two players only because there is the Africa Nations Cup.”
