WAFA Teenagers Konadu Yiadom and Kelvin Boakye Yiadom Mark Ghana Premier League Debuts

Teenagers Konadu Yiadom and Kelvin Boakye Yiadom played their first Ghana Premier League matches on Saturday against Dreams FC

Defender Yiadom, 17, was an early second half substitute to replace injured Musah Nuhu.

He was signed this season from Division Two side Tema United.

If Nuhu fails to recover from the ankle injury he sustained against Dreams FC, then Yiadom will be picked to make his full debut against Berekum Chelsea in Tema on Wednesday.

Striker Boakye was an 85th minute substitute after Justice Amate was withdrawn.

The 17-year-old barely had a touch before Charles Boateng slotted home the last goal in the 5-0 win over Dreams FC.

He was in top form for coach Sadiq Abubakar’s U16 side.

This season has seen former Francis Boateng and Augustine Boakye.
