Ultra Modern, Zulka Sports Arena Opens In Dansoman

An Ultra Modern and state of the art Sports Arena Opens at Dansoman, Accra.

The Zulka Sports Arena, is a sleek ultra modern edifice that has not one, not two but three astro-turf football pitches on the same premise with a sitting capacity of 400.

The facility which is scheduled to open on the 3rd of March 2018 is fitted with modern astro-turfs similar to the Wembley Stadium and the Accra Academy Sports Park. It also has flood lights, a backup generator for evening football matches, male and female dressing rooms and washrooms.

Zulka Sports Arena has space for a swimming pool, supermarket and a gym which are still currently under construction. The facility which is located at Dansoman behind the Liberty Professional Karl Reindorf Park at Dansoman will also be used as an Event Centre for the hosting and organisation of outdoor social events as well as football matches.

On the 3rd of March 2018, the facility will be opened to the general public and a high profile Inauguration will take place at the Arena. The list of dignitaries expected to grace the launching of the Sports Arena includes the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, The Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Nuhu Shaributu Osman, The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Mrs Ursula Owusu, Chiefs of the Ga Traditional Area and some present and past footballers and other noted dignitaries.

Zulka Sports Arena is owned by Zulka Rahman, a young and successful businessman in Accra, who is enthused and passionate with the game of football and he desires to use his facility to help in developing and boosting the game of football in Ghana and also to provide an event centre for use by the community.
