Some say that God created the world in six days and on the seventh day He created football; not to be confused with soccer.
Now we recognize that some soccer fans take issue with ascribing the name football to the wonderful American sport globalized by the National Football League , preferring to call it American football and leaving the name football for their much revered sport football, soccer or futbol, which originated from England.
