Without any gainsaying, Hearts of Oak’s clash with bitter rivals Asante Kotoko sits as the top-liner as the Ghana Premier League enters matchday eight this weekend.
The two sides, ninth and second on the table respectively, are all but set for their epic showdown at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Tied on points with Kotoko at the top of the table but advantaged by a better goal record, Aduana Stars must pick maximum points in their away clash with Ebusua Dwarfs to avoid the possibility of relinquishing their position. This is one of six matches scheduled for Saturday.

Berekum Chelsea could record their fourth win of the season at the Sogakope Stadium on Saturday, but standing between them are Wafa, who currently occupy the 10th position.

The hunt will likely prolong, at least for another matchday, as the ‘Dade’ Boys travel to face Medeama at the Tarkwa T&A Park.
