The Russian Football Union is reportedly close to finalising plans for a friendly with the Black Stars on September 6.
According to Ghanasoccernet.com, the 2018 World Cup hosts will play the four-time African champions on September 6.
The Black Stars will travel to Moscow to play Europeans in the high profile match.
“Ghana is among the two countries the Russia national team will play in the coming days. We will play Turkey and Ghana,” RFU insider told Ghanasoccernet.com on Monday night.
“The game against Ghana is scheduled for September 6 in Moscow.”
Ghana will use the match as preparation towards the start of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars will play Egypt, Congo and Uganda as they fight for the sole spot from the group for the tournament in Russia.
