Randy Abbey Swats ‘absurd’ Allegation Proposing To Ghana FA Ex.Co To Fund of John Mahama Campaign

Heart of Lions owner Randy Abbey has described as absurd allegations that he once asked Executive Committee members to fund the campaign of former Ghana president John Dramani Mahama.

Last week, Edmund Ackah alleged on Asempa FM the former Ghana FA spokerson told members to support the campaign of his friend- Mahama- during the 2012 presidential elections.

”From 2004 till I left the executive committee ,I never took any proposal to the committee for any money for any political purpose,” Abbey said on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.

”I have never ever done any such thing in my life.

”As an individual I have never taken anything from and member of the committee ever, not even 1 Ghana cedi.

”How can I go to the executive committee to take money to support John Mahama’s campaign? This is so absurd.

”I just need one member who was on the executive committee then to come out and say I took even one pesewa from them.”
