Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng was sent off while in action for Las Palmas against Real Sociedad in the Spanish La Liga on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old received his marching orders in the 31st minute following a nasty foul on a Sociedad player.
Las Palmas manager Setien handed a starting role to the former AC Milan star and was hoping for an improve performance from the suspended Ghana international.
However things turned soar as he was sent off while the Yellows were down by 2-0.
The straight red card means Boateng would miss Las Palmas’ home test against Real Madrid in the weekend and away trip to Osasuna.
