Ghanaian Boxer and a musician, Barimah Kamoko, also known as Bukom Banku has described as false, claims that he slapped a hairdresser after she declined a kiss from him.
Bukom Banku is alleged to have demanded a kiss from a hairdresser in her shop but she declined.
Following Madam Martha Nelson’s resistance, the boxer alleged slapped her twice and punched her in the rib.
He further took the complainant’s Nokia mobile phone valued at GHC40.00 and smashed it saying the phone was inferior and that he would buy her a Samsung Galaxy phone.
The complainant in tears reported the matter to the Police at James Town. But the boxer in an interview with Adom News’ Kofi Adomah on Kofi TV said God should deal with him ruthlessly if he ever subjected the victim to severe beatings.
“Everybody knows that I was joking with Martha. I know it is just politics to tarnish my image. I have not beaten anybody. If am lying, then this BIBLE, God and even the Antoa should deal with me and kill me” he declared.
According to him, some detractors are working hard to tarnish his image because of his affiliation to the ruling NDC.
“I know people hate me in my area because I’m campaigning for NDC but I swear with my life that I have not subjected anyone to beating.
“I know what is going on. People hate me because I support NDC. The politics is too much” he said.
Meanwhile, Bukom Banku is expected to appear before an Accra Magistrate Court Monday on charges of assault and causing unlawful damage.
