The GFA will organize the Gala competition before the start of the Premier League
The Ghana Football Association will organize the Gala competition before the start of the Premier League.
This will usher in the new season which is scheduled to start next January.
The competition will involve all 16 clubs in the Ghana top-flight and will afford them the opportunity to assess their readiness.
“The GFA as part of our contract with StarTimes, our broadcast sponsors, will play a gala for all the 16 premier league clubs before the kickoff of the 2016/17 season,” Nyantakyi disclosed at Monday’s Congress in Prampram.
The last time the Gala was held was in 2000 which was won by BA United.
