Hearts of Oak new coach Frank Nuttall says the Ghana Premier League is one of the most competitive leagues on the continent.

Nuttall who took charge of the phobians last week was in the dugout when his side drew goalless with Medeama at the Accra Stadium last Sunday.

The Scottish trainer having monitored the league before joining Hearts says the standard of the Ghana League is high.

“The league is a very tough league, most of the players are good and the standard is very high,” he said

“You can see how the league finished last season, the competition between the top teams and the bottom teams was really intense

“The points difference was small that shows is a very competitive league.”

Hearts travel away to play Ebusua Dwarfs in a match-day three fixture on Wednesday.
