Impressive Kotoko goalie Felix Annan has declared that the words of former coach David Duncan were the motivating factor behind his impressive output this season.
Felix Annan started last season as Kotoko’s first choice keeper under Duncan before getting injured. He recovered from the long-term injury to regain his first choice spot, but Felix believes that the words of the controversial technical man during preseason motivated him throughout the season.
“Coach Duncan made it clear to us that only the keeper who performs at training will get the nod to keep the post. He had talks with me and encouraged me to give my possible best. He told me; if you play and you play good, you play again. And this motivated me a lot,” Felix said on Asempa FM.
Felix was one of the standout goalkeepers from the league and Kotoko fans would be counting on his excellent display next season.
