The former Ghana U-17 player has expressed his bitterness about the leadership style of Nyantakyi insisting he is “collapsing” Ghana football.

Awudu Isaaka has attributed the inconsistent nature of the local League to the poor administration by Nyantakyi and his team.

The 1995 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner is planning to organize a demonstration in an attempt to take the CAF Executive Committee out of office.

Speaking to Accra based Atinka FM, Awudu said, “I have decided to organize a demonstration to take Nyantakyi out of office. He must leave the seat as the GFA President because he is bringing Ghana Football to a collapse.

“I am therefore calling on ex-footballers and others to come on board so we demonstrate against his administration.

“Ever since he became the head of the Ghana Football Association his focus has only been the Black Stars neglecting the local League and even our junior National teams.

“We used to excel in junior level even more than the Black Stars but now what do we see. Our junior team’s even struggle to qualify for competitions.

“It is sad. Look at the local League. People used to enjoy the League and got to the stadium but we will hardly see a stadium filled even when Kotoko and Hearts is.

“Ghanaian Clubs are even struggling to make an impression in Africa. Kotoko and Hearts used to make the headlines in Africa. But it is not so again.

“I think it is time for him to vacate the seat as GFA President.”

Nyantakyi has been the longest FA President after he was elected into office in 2004.
