Supporters of AshantiGold SC have issued a stern warning to the management of the club that they will desert the club and support regional rivals Asante Kotoko should they keep the current operations team.
The anguish supporters believe the club will return to its former glory days when the current depart because they bring them no good luck but rather malediction into the team.
They therefore threatened to abandon the club and support Asante Kotoko if management do not heed to their cry.
“We don’t want them anymore (operations team),) the spirit they use to bring into the club has turned into bad luck due certain things that most of them are doing,” a source told Ghana Sports.
“If they continue to be at the helm of affairs, we will stop supporting the team and go and support Asante Kotoko.”
Ashanti Gold are currently lying 13th on the Ghana Prmeier League table with 7 points from 8 matches.
