The Chair of the Electoral Commission, Charlotte Osei, on Monday, October 10 announced the disqualification of 12 presidential aspirants ahead of the 2016 elections.
Among the 12 are former multiple candidates Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) and Dr Edward Nasigre Mahama of the People’s National Convention (PNC).
One other aspirant, Akwasi Addai Odike, will know his fate after October 14, when a higher court determines a case brought against him by some members of his party, United Progressive Party (UPP).
