Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arhtur has pooh-poohed on 170 questions Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been thrusting on him which bother on the state of the economy.
After months of what appears to be hide-and-seek, the vice president finally confronted the questions head on but would not answer them because he deems them not serious to warrant responses.
Addressing a mammoth Greater Accra regional rally of the NDC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, Mr. Amissah-Arthur noted that what Dr. Bawumia is touting as questions are mere statements.
“All over the country we have answered the most important questions that he has asked. We have shown him where he has gone wrong, we have shown him where his information is wrong, but he still persists in asking us to answer the 170 questions.
“So today I asked my people to bring me the 170 questions, and I am surprised at some of the questions he wants us to answer. Question 140 he said they have built Jubilee House/Flagstaff House. So I said but that is not a question….he said they rehabilitated the Accra Sports Stadium, they built Essipong Stadium…they renovated the Peduase Lodge…you have renovated the president’s house that is the Peduase Lodge, what do you want me to answer about that?” he asked.
Mr. Amissah-Auther asserted, “So anybody who is asking 170 questions, he is not serious, therefore we shall ignore the 170 questions because he is not serious.
“We have answered him; he should come up with better questions so that we can seriously look at what is happening in our country.”
