A resident in Bimbila in the Northern Region, Alhassan Abubakar, is in the grips of the Nanumba-North Police for allegedly sodomizing three minors (names withheld) at his residence.
The suspect, who was arrested on Friday, December 16 upon a tip-off from some residents is said to have had anal knowledge of the trio.
The three are all students of an Islamic school established by the suspect Alhassan Abubakar, a Fulani, at his residence.
After being told of the ordeals, parents of the victims subsequently reported the incidents to the Nanumba-North Police Command.
Confirming his arrest 3news.com, the Nanumba-North Police Commander DSP Ben Aniah revealed that the suspect is currently assisting the police in investigations.
3new.com intercepted a medical report signed by the Medical Officer at the Bimbila Hospital, Dr Ayambill Paul, that one of the victims had “the anus appeared inflamed with reddening and swelling. This is a suggestion of successful penetration in the anus”.
