The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is scheduled to hold a mammoth rally at the forecourt of the Ghana International Trade Fair Center to climax weeks of regional rallies.
This will be the final rally of the party that governed Ghana between 2001 and 2009, before Wednesday’s general elections.
A statement released by the party on Saturday said the rally is on the theme ‘The Battle is the LORD’S’.
“The 2016 Presidential Candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo, running mate, Dr. Bawumia, Parliamentary Candidates and all executives of the party will be present.”
Invitations have been extended to sympathizers, supporters and the general public to be part of “the battle cry for change”.
The party’s leadership has, in the past few weeks, been on a regional campaign trail.
The venue for Sunday’s final national rally is the same where the party began it all immediately after launching its 2016 manifesto on October 9, 2016.
The party is seeking to return to power with the same candidates since 2008.
