Max International Donates To Children’s Ward of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital

Global nutraceutical leader Max International Ghana has presented a cheque for GH¢15,000 to the Paediatric Department of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The donation is expected to help treat children with cancer and also buy equipment for the Department, especially the Paediatric Oncology Unit.

It also forms part of the industry leader’s corporate social responsibility.

Presenting the cheque, Max International Diamond Associate Dr Kofi Nyarkopong said the gesture is part of an annual programme to support the disadvantaged in society.

Dr Nyarkopong said the company, for instance, made a cash donation of GH¢20,000 to the Ghana Society for the Physically Disabled last year.

He said the annual gesture of the producers of Glutathione enhancement products in “assisting poor and disadvantaged communities around the world by providing them the resources they need to get ahead provide the life-changing benefits of our patented, science-based products to the world strives to make a difference in people’s lives”.

He added that his firm helps people to make a difference by improving health status and providing opportunities “to supplement your income or build a lasting legacy, owning your own Max Business as a major step towards achieving your dreams”.

Receiving the items, the Deputy Director of Administration, Kambarin Kombien, thanked the management of Max International Ghana for the gesture, underscoring that it will go a long way to save lives.

He revealed that researchers are close to making it possible for doctors to find causes and to treat unborn babies with cancer.
