A deadly motor accident involving a 207 Benz bus has occurred at Dominase on the Kumasi-Obuasi road in the Ashanti Region.
The passenger bus, carrying 28 persons on board, is reported to have rammed into a tanker, whose driver is said to have parked after sensing danger from the motion of the Benz bus.
Eye witnesses say the 207 bus with registration number AW 1668 Z burst its tyre.
Bodies of the dead, numbering 24, have been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Four survivors are also receiving treatment at the same medical facility.
