The outline of the new Ministers submitted for approval by the Parliament shows his desire to give as many of NPP Officials and Supporters a job in his Administration regardless of Gender, Age, and Expertise and work experience blowing up the Budget for his Government to the disadvantage of the good people of Ghana.

In no Government of this world is a Minister for Parliamentarian Affairs walking up and down the Floors of Flagstaff House. A Minister for Sungu Affairs is more than a joke, it is a disgrace and waste of money. Minister for Aviation in a country like Ghana…what a nonsense. A Minister for Special Development in form of a young Woman with first time in Parliament is madness of an old aged man.

It is one thing to have a “new agenda” supposedly to better the lives of Ghanaians, it is another matter altogether to structure a Cabinet accordingly to deliver the right and effective Policy.

What the President has decided is well known in Politics and unveils the real truth. Many newly created positions are redundancies of work for the simple reason, he does not trust his Ministers; like Adolf Hitler created SS to keep SA under control and make them powerful internal enemies against each other to protect himself and his position from destruction. The newly created Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation is nothing but Nana’s Spy on the rest of the Ministers as the job description are the duties of a Chief of Staff which he has also assigned. The conflict in competence is obvious.

Such a tactic Nana Akufo-Addo is using in his chosen set up of Cabinet, makes the Government less effective, creates more confusion and conflicts in the Power Running Machine of his Administration, burning money, time and ideas in times of need for effectiveness.

When Nana Akufo-Addo claims the six new Ministries/Portfolios are located at the Office of The President and not located in an own Ministerial Building, he even reveals more of his real mind as in such a case it would have been the appropriate decision to assign Government Officials with certain assignments instead making them Ministers.

While he thinks such an enlarged ‘specialized’ Government will match with his Agenda promised to the good people of Ghana, History demonstrates clearly that the opposite is the reality. More Ministers are harder to handle, motivate and supervise opening the door to increased corruption. The old man in Flagstaff House wants to have a good rest and sleep well, but in less than one year the good people of Ghana will discover the real truth about his Administration to the effect, disappointment will take place.

Having seen the Mahama’s Administration messing up a Generation with no alternative in the NPP Government, Ghana’s Voters will find themselves in an emotional and intellectual trap. Parliament will not perform to the much needed changes, leaving Ghana in a mess.

It is therefore not astonishing that the Military, starting with Officers from the North of the country, ever louder express their concerns and worries about the state of the Republic of Ghana to the extent that they see the need for a radical change and take over once again the control of the country. Military Personel from the North will see in this move a revenge for the stolen election by the NPP to give justice to Prez. John Mahama and a clear statement to the good people of Ghana.

When a Military Coup changes the fate of Ghana once again, the Officers must be advised to engage in such actions only with a well prepared mind and plan. A Coup with no Exit strategy is creating more harm than the situation supposedly to be corrected. The Constitution of 1992 needs to come under review and more so the people the new Civil Government needs to work with. This raises the question whether Local/National Boys are the best option for an Independent Ghana or Servants from outside not being trapped in a spider net of old feelings, traditions, owing favors, with a fresh mind focused on real issues and solutions to make a turn around to save the Nation from downfall.
