Observationally, the sentiment of the economic market in Ghana, which is made up of majority of the youth are mostly in expectation cue. It has come to my attention some government officials striving to mesmerize the unnecessary exponential rise in expectation of employments opportunities. They further argue that, it will be implemented but in a gradual and study process. Unfortunately it also noted, another circle is deliberately in skepticism and aggressively looking for loopholes to attack.
This article belong to none of this political party fanatics but rather to the silence majority who voted not because of party affiliations but want to see transformation in their state of wellbeing under this government comparable to the previous.
In the fulfillment of such aspired change and expectations, you equally have to understand that the President is managing a population of over 26million, under 10 regions of Ghana and you could be a victim of oversight on your plight; therefore there is that special call to be proactive and establish a lateral linkage to government agencies, which I term it as economic alignment model, especially to those youth who are not yet absorbed by State agencies for employment purposes.
We need to further agree that, unemployment has become an everlasting component of every economy competing globally, which will be justified in my next paragraph, however seeking to avoid being a victim of this circumstance as an individual; you need to sharpen your technical skills in line with government expressed opportunities and will equally request to the current central government, to either set up public forums beyond industrial associations meet-ups which is limited to members with fee-paid status solely on issues relating to domestic market opportunities delivered by the central government for the citizens to take advantage of. Alternatively could set-up a controlled centre which will be accessible to the public and all class of life to easily access informational details of government, outlining the opportunities and procedures to participate in it. In this circumstance the President or anyone assigned on his behalf has to oversee, the competency in information delivery to the benefit of the public devoid of nepotism and self interest serving. Could possible add free toll number for citizens to report to the higher office when the hired officers begins to abuse the operations of the centre.
Unemployment is finally becoming a nemesis of every strong economy, the reason rely inherent in a growing pressure of population. The technoeconomic model, whose increasing sophistication and speed threatens to reduce the importance of man in the civilization process. Many portents of the new technology all of them point to a declining nexus between man and work as a gradual redundancy of all, with the exception of highly skilled.
Generation of surplus value will depends more on modernization of techniques and hence reduction of per unit costs than on rising outputs by augmenting capacity. And as the basic character of this non utilization of human capacity is structural, its main brunt seems to fall on the less privileged strata everywhere, the semiskilled and unskilled low status groups.
