It’s soo apalling to hear Central Regional Minister Queenster Pokuaa to lie to the people of Central Region Ghanaians that her Government has brought development in the region.
Speaking on Peace fm 12pm news on Friday, 28th October, 2016. The Minister told Ghanaians that Central Region has benefit the good governance of NDC/Mahama Government more than the other nine regions.
As a concern citizen, I challenge the Minister to come out and mention just two(2) major things that NDC/Mahama Government have done for we the people of Central Region.
When it comes to Unemployment ranking in all the ten(10) Administrative Regions, Central will be number one(1). When you come to Agona Swedru which is the headquarters of SAKAWA, you will find young people, graduate etc practising Sakawa because the rate of Unemployment is very high. Speaking to most of these people, they will tell you that, because am Unemployed, I decided to go into Sakawa because I saw that my Certificate is useless. The only job that, Agona Swedru Municipality can boost of is SAKAWA and I hopw our Propagandist Regional Minister is aware of such job.
Poverty is the quality or state of being poor. The most poorest region among others is the Central Region and I hope these one too the Regional Minister is much aware of these fact too. When you come to Agona West Constituency, there is a village called Akonoma near Obrakyere. The people in that village find it difficult to get a three square meal with poor education as well. Am asking Ghanaians that, is these changing lives of the people of Central Region as NDC/Mahama Government?
Lastly, Bad Road Network in Central Region is as many as sugar. Most road network in central region is not in good shape at all. Gomoa Nkran/Dawurapong-Apam road is one of them. Nsaba/Duakwa-Mansakrom road. Madam Central Regional Minister, these are just two roads that I want to challenge you on. Come out and tell us that these roads are in good shape. We will consider you if you tell me that you do not know the state of Gomoa Nkran/Dawurapong-Apam road but for Nsaba/Duakwa-Mansakrom road which is in your Constituency. Hon. Minister propaganda won’t help us.
We are stating it clear that Central Region is not for any political party as the NDC are claiming ownership. Central Region is a swing region as well as the decider for Presidential elections. NDC/Mahama Government have failed the people of Central Region and Ghanaians in general so we the people of Central Region are waiting for 7th December to show them the exit. No more propaganda, No more sympathy vote.
