As if the embarrassing police investigations were not enough, embattled Tepa Nursing College Principal now faces possible withdrawal of her hard-earned Doctorate degree.
In 2015, Victoria Amoah was awarded the Honorary Doctorate Degree by the Peristrofi World International Awards Council for her professional excellence. She was also awarded the Honorary Woman of the Moment.

However, all these may eventually become things of the past, as the Tepa Nursing College Principal faces the risk of losing her Honorary Doctorate Degree.
President of Peristrofi, Dr Divine Gabriel Brefo who spoke to told Starr News, said that the Council has written to the Health Ministry as it probes the allegations against the Principal, to revoke the award if she is eventually found guilty by the Health Ministry.
In order not to take laws into their hands, Dr Brefo said the council will write to the University at California and the governing council for the woman of honour award which was given the Principal, to be nullified. If this happens, then Mrs Amoah will be stripped of the prestigious PhD degree awarded her.
Tepa Nursing College Principal, Mrs Amoah has been on the receiving end of massive backlash following news of her involvement in gross misappropriation, embezzlement and syphoning of millions of school funds with the school accountant, Richard Asamoah.
The mater which has lasted for a long while has greatly affected academic and administrative work at the school. Mrs Amoah was interdicted following investigations by Ultimate FM in Kumasi, which fingered her in an alleged malfeasance at the school.
A seven-member delegation was dispatched to the government institution by the Ministry of Health to dig deeper, following disturbing revelations from the investigations.
Per the investigations, Ms. Amoah and the accountant of the college, Richard Asamoah, faked invoices and receipts to extort money from the school during every admission year. The duo who reportedly began the illicit act in 2011 has milked the government institution in excess of GHC 9 million.

More facts to back the investigation were reports that up to 50 percent of past and current students of the college did not pass through an interview panel as prescribed by the Ministry of health; because admission into the college was sold at a whopping GH¢3000.
Further checks on her activities also uncovered a new GHC 7 million fraud.
The Tepa Divisional Police Command had invited the principal of the Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College to appear before it in June 2017, to answer questions pertaining to the fraud allegations. However, no new reports have followed.
The Interdicted school principal has reportedly refused to hand over to a newly appointed head. However, will continue as normal at the school.
