Shatta Wale Grabs Overall Winner At 2017 Edition [Full List]

Self acclaimed Dance Hall King, Shatta Wale was honoured with the overall winner award at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards UK gala. This year’s GMA UK, which is the 2nd annual edition of the awards ceremony, took place at the Gaumont Palace, Dominion Centre, Greenwood, London N22 6DS, on Saturday, September 16.

The event which was organised by Allordia Promotions, saw Shatta Wale go home with 5 out of the 36 award categories presented at the occasion, namely: the Afrobeats Artist Of The  Year, Artiste of The Year, Afro Pop Artiste of The Year, Collaboration Of The Year, and the Reggae/dancehall Artiste of the Year.

Following Shatta Wale in the ranks is Sarkodie who also pocketed 3 awards at the GMA UK version.

Zylofon Media’s Obibini as well as Kumi Guitar, and other UK-based artistes Kwamz & Flava all thrilled pat4ons with vibrant performances at the occasion.
