The much anticipated friendly match between the Fearsome Elmina Sharks and the Black Stars Team B has been postponed to Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Nduom Sports Stadium in Elmina.
The match which was to prepare the Black Stars Team B ahead of their qualifiers to their 2018 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso on August 11, 2017 in Ouagadougou had to be postponed to allow selected players to participate in the ongoing MTN FA Cup matches.
The Black Stars are also scheduled to participate in the West African Football Union (WAFU) competition slated for the 9th to 24th September, 2017 at the Robert Mensah and Essipong Stadia in the Western and Central Regions of Ghana.
Managers of Elmina Sharks were hoping to capitalise on the break of the Ghana Premier League to keep the team in shape for the remaining six matches in the league challenge.
The Fearsome Sharks are currently seventh on the league log with 33 points from 24 matches.
