Police in Tema have clashed with some disgruntled workers of the China Harbour engineering, sub- contractors for the Tema Port expansion project on Thursday morning.
The police fired into the crowd with tear gas and gunshot as well. Some of the workers have been hurt. Motorists who ply the Tema harbour road to link to Sakumono on the Tema beach had to abandon their vehicles and flee upon hearing the gun shots.
