Famous Nigerian singer and rapper, David Adeleke, who is popularly known as Davido, has announced that his wife-to-be, Chioma Avril Rowland, has tested positive for coronavirus. The singer noted that he and his son, Ifeanyi, tested negative.
The singer made the announcement in a series of tweets on the popular micro-blogging platform. He explained that he recently got back from the United States and his wife-to-be came back from the United Kingdom with their son, Ifeanyi. According to him, even though they showed no symptoms they decided to get tested on Wednesday, March 25. He said their close contacts also got tested.

Davido said Chioma is yet to show symptoms but she is now being quarantined. He added that he has also gone into full isolation for a minimum of fourteen days. He thanked everyone for their endless love and prayers. The singer also advised people to stay at home as the spread of the virus is being controlled.
