The musician cum comedian has been trending in the media following his outrageous allegations against some key government officials appointed by President Nana Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

A-Plus had taken to Facebook to accuse Deputy Chiefs of Staff Abu Jinapor and Asenso-Bokaye of being corrupt. He described them as corrupt fools scheming to siphon government funds.

Korle Bu Teaching Hospital management’s decision to terminate a contract it had with UniBank for onsite banking services was followed by some intervention from the two staffers after a petition from UniBank.

The Hospital’s management had explained that there were compatibility issues with the End-to-End Hospital Revenue Collection Software being used and UniBank, hence the termination which was later rescinded.

However, the involvement of the two Deputy Chiefs of Staff had prompted A-Plus’ allegations which were later deemed baseless by the CID. This was after the musician failed to back his claims with some evidence.

After a long episode of counter-attacks, A-Plus has finally bent, as he has recently admitted that he was mistaken at first.

A-Plus believes the Presidential staffers whom he accused of corruption, were misled and acted on deception when they intervened in the termination of UniBank’s contract to provide onsite banking services at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

A-Plus admits he was mistaken when he thought initially that Abu Jinapor up to speed with affairs pertaining to the onsite banking services.

The comedian had rendered an apology to President Akufo-Addo for choosing the wrong medium and manner to express his views. Though he had held on to his allegations, A-Plus has cleared the air with his recent statement.
