The Deputy Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kweku Boahen has said, former President Mahama is entitled to his opinion, but cannot stop any NDC member or Ghanaian from criticizing the NPP government for causing the sudden death of Captain Maxwell Mahama.

He said the late Captain is a victim of Nana Addo’s hate and irresponsible political gibberish like “All die be die”.

Kweku Boahen asked why NDC can’t blame the NPP government for the late Captain’s death, when their leader Nana Addo brought mercenaries from abroad to recruit and train innocent youth in Ghana to become extremist and warriors attacking soldiers, police, government appointees and even invading courts.

He said, Ghanaians who watched the sadistic video of the late army officer, could see that the culprits acted like trained killers at combat.

“Look at the way they immobilized a whole army captain and targeted rampant gun shots at the articulated vehicle, and tell me if they are just ordinary Ghanaian citizens but not Nana Akufo-Addo’s trained warriors,” the NDC Communicator lamented.

The late captain Mahama was lynched by some mob at Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region after residents claimed they mistook him for an armed robber on Monday May 29, 2017.

The NDC Communicator, blamed President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for tolerating what he described as the acts of lawlessness in the country.

He said Nana Addo’s rebel groups whose priority were to seek political change in Ghana at all cost have, in fact turned to bite his members of his own government, the armed forces, the judiciary and even ordinary Ghanaians.

He said, Ghanaians must look how attractive the delta forces have been and even increased their numerical strength after they were set free.

Kweku Boahen urged Ghanaians to be vigilant and vote the NPP out in the 2020 elections before they tear the peace and stability of the country apart.

In concurrence, a London based NDC communicator Gideon Okine said, Nana Addo must act honorably by resigning, since he has disappointed Ghanaians.

A London based NPP communicator, Peter Antwi Boasiako said he thinks the “Nana Addo trained boys” as alleged by Kweku Boahen, were trained by the three Guantanamo Bay detainees who were accepted into the counrty by former President John Mahama.
