Following “Footnotes For ‘The Story Of O. J’,” JAY-Z returns with episode two of his current viral series.
In “Footnotes For ‘4:44′,” JAY-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Chris Paul, Will Smith and Aziz Ansari touch on the subject of love, maturity and struggles some males go through when entering a relationship. “I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn’t totally built on the 100 percent truth,” says JAY-Z in the 11-minute piece. “Then it starts cracking, and then things start happening that the public can see … We had to go a point and be like, ‘Tear this down,’ and then start from the beginning.”
Chris Rock, Meek Mill, Anthony Anderson and others also make appearances. The clip ends with a preview of the upcoming music video for “Bam” featuring Damian Marley. Filmed in Jamaica, the video premieres at 4:44 p.m. EST this Friday.
