Ghanaian boxer Isaac ‘The Royal Storm’ Dogbe extended his unbeaten run to 17 on Saturday, when he secured a technical knock-out (TKO) over Argentine opponent Javier Nicolas Chacon.
Chacon failed to heed to the bell for the start of the 7th round, following a wrist injury he picked in the 6th round.
The Ghanaian super bantamweight boxer dominated all the six rounds by far before the bout was stopped.
Chacon, 36, loses for the fourth time with the latest result, having fought 30 times – drawn once and won 25 times.
The WBO Super Bantamweight world title eliminator win at the Bukom Arena in Accra puts Dogbe, 22, an inch closer to a world title shot.
He expressed gratitude to Ghanaians for the support and promised to deliver the much-awaited world title soon.
