Musician, producer and song writer, Ephraim Doe Churchill Gakpetor, will on Saturday, September 2, 2017 release his new single: “I dey craze.”
In an interview with Entertainment Today, the musician revealed that the song would be premiered on different radio stations on that fateful day.
“It is going to be a radio tour on that day, which song will be played on various radio stations,” he revealed.
According to him, the album has eleven (11) tracks.
The musician, who is so much in love with his new girlfriend, explained that he chose the “I dey craze” as the title of his song because he is so much crazy about his new girlfriend.
He went on to reveal that his yet-to-be premiered song is inspired by a failed relationship that he had which left him with a broken heart.
“This is a true life story of me which I want the public to know about,” he said.
Ephraim also disclosed that even though “this is a love song he wants to tell Ghanaians that this is so different from the love song which is being played on the air waves, because this is a true life story of him and even when you listen to the song you will feel the passion, and the emotions he used to sing the song make it different.”
“Apart from my ‘aleke and broken heart song which is doing well on the market I believe this my new single ‘I dey craze” will become a hit than my previous songs and I bet you I am going for the BET awards 2019, “he disclosed.
According to him, he did not feature any artiste because he thought “this is a true life story of him which he believes he will be the right person to narrate the story very well to the public because bringing the third person inside might not know where he is coming from.
Of how the Ghanaian music industry sees his work and music, he said “In fact the music industry in Ghana is now doing well, and now people are also getting recognised.”
Ephraim also urged Ghanaians to patronise their own music and made-in-Ghana goods.
“I want to also tell all my fans to keep supporting Ephraim’s music and I promise I won’t let them down,” he assured.
According to him, the unique character and image that he showed in each song will keep listeners well in tune, while his melodies and harmony will also keep fans listening all over again.
Ephraim has produced several hit songs including ‘Fly with Me,’ ‘Sex Machine,’ ‘aleke,’ broken heart among others.
