I Don’t Wear Boxer Shorts – Ampofo Ankrah

Ace sports broadcaster Yaw Ampofo Ankrah has opened up on 3FM’s Easy Stream, talking about his likes and dislikes as well as his experiences drawn from over two decades in the profession.

One of the dislikes the former host of BBC’s erstwhile Fast Track sports show mentioned is about boxer shorts.

“I don’t wear boxer shorts,” he said on the Famous Friday edition of Easy Stream hosted by MC Bobby.

“It doesn’t mean I am not wearing anything,” he clarified.

Dared to show what he was wearing, he showed a little bit in the studio, jesting he would have shown it all were it a night programme.

He, however, said: “I am not Wanlov Kubolor”, apparently referring to the infamous show of the musician’s peter some years back on TV3.

But according to him, what he usually wears can best be described as “supporter”.

Yaw Ampofo Ankrah denounced homosexuality, saying his upbringing totally abhors it.

“I am a Christian. For me homosexuality is a no, no.”

He expressed delight in showing affection especially hugging and “so if I meet a woman, she’s got to be full”.
