As part of his 40 years in ministry, the Pioneer plans to launch the Yaw Sarpong Foundation (YSF) with the objective of transforming prisons across the country. Dubbed “The Prison Project”, it aims to establish counseling and resource centers across Ghana’s prisons, providing a platform for inmates to discover their talents through the power of music.

The A-list Gospel artiste thought it appropriate to pay tribute to predecessors who have left an indelible mark in the industry.

It is important to respect and honour those who have gone ahead of you. When you honour them, God will honour you. You attract the anointing and grace that you value

Yaw Sarpong brought his best to the stage as he performed some of his hit songs at the concert. Wo haw ne sen, Tiwa, were some of the songs performed by the pioneer who exuded so much grace on stage.

A live painting was done on stage by Patrick William Dodoo while Yaw Sarpong sang and was auctioned immediately by Joe Mettle.
