Naa Ashorkor’s first child reportedly arrived a few weeks ago, but the good news just leaked to the media not long ago…
Much admired Actress and Tv Host, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku has welcomed a bouncing baby boy. The respected Tv personality got married to Ahuma Cabutey Adodoadji on Saturday, October 4, 2014.
The couple celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary late last year, with heartwarming messages pouring in from each other and from fans.
The pregnancy of Naa Ashorkor’s first child had been kept away from the media, with only a few persons being aware that the hardworking actress was actually expecting a baby all these while.
She however, released some of her baby-bump photo shoots during her media [radio&Tv] adverts for Lydia Contraceptives titled “I Plan”.
The contraceptives campaign was aimed at educating women across the world on the need to plan for a child, as well as the best forms of contraceptive plans available to them.
Naa Ashorkor who has been off the screens for sometime now, was reported to have previously had a miscarriage, but thanks to God, she made it this time!
The award-winning actress who hosts GHOne’s Tales from the Powder Room and Starr FM’s daily mid-morning show, The Zone, is also known for her roles in Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s film, Perfect Picture; Adam’s Apple film series, and Iroko TV’s Movie Series, Poisoned Bait directed by Leila Djansi.
Her role in The “Perfect Picture” earned her the Best Actress Award at the 2010 African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
Naa Ashorkor is also the host for one of Ghana’s most celebrated beauty pageants Miss Malaika Ghana. She also hosted the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), alongside oldies Chris Attoh and DJ Black.
