Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has asked his fanbase not “to feel bad” about him not getting a nomination at the 2017 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.
Wale was trolled on Social Media for missing out yet again on a nomination after crowning himself the champion of the music genre in Ghana.
“I dont want any fan of mine to feel bad about any BET…My skin is too strong now for such Nkwasias3m from this educated fools in our industry..” reads one of his posts.
Stonebwoy is the only Ghanaian to get a nomination at this year’s edition of the awards scheme.

BET Networks, Organizers of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards have announced nominations for this year’s edition.
Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and Afrobeats act Mr. Eazi were nominated in the ‘Best International Act: Africa‘ category. AKA, Nasty C, Babes Wodumo, Davido, Tekno and Wizkid are the other nominees.
Beyonce leads the pack with seven nominations, followed by Bruno Mars with five.
The awards scheme recognizes the triumphs and successes of artists, entertainers, and athletes in a variety of categories. The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 25 at the Microsoft Theater, United States of America.
